FIA offers to the students of the International MBA the exchange program with the following universities:
E.M.Lyon – Lyon / France
IPADE – Mexico City or Monterrey / Mexico
Owen/Vanderbilt – Nashville / USA
Tongji – Shangai / China
PBS – Porto/Portugal
Dates and deadlines for applications
The school year in Brazil starts in March.
Exchange students may apply for the 1st or the 2nd semester. It is possible to stay for a shorter period. Inform the International Exchange Office of the intended period of stay.
1st semester – from mid-March to the end of June
2nd semester – from August to mid-December

Nomination procedures
Observing the deadlines above, partner schools should send their nominations together with the students’ Curriculum Vitae, for FIA’s analysis and approval.
Subsequently the nominees will be contacted and given information about the enrollment and other necessary proceedings such as Visas.
Even though citizens of some countries do not need a Visa to stay in Brazil for 90 days, to enroll at FIA Business School as an interchange student, a STUDENT VISA is mandatory. FIA will issue a letter to be used in the visa application process.
Eligibility
Students must have attended at least one semester at the partner school.
Grades indicated in the Academic Transcript must correspond to a minimum GPA of 3.0 (full mark being 4), or 75/100.
English Proficiency must be proved via a TOEFL result (above 78) or other if agreed by FIA’s coordination.
Health Insurance
All foreign students at FIA must present an international health insurance covering costs over the period of their interchange.
